Let’s get one thing clear.. I love Tony Stark a lot.. I support his decisions in CA:CW.. and in A:AoU.. (he didn’t create Ultron.. that Hydra scum Wanda freakin'Maximoff did.. Bruce Banner helped, mind gem has its own conciousness, there are many reasons..) but pointing only Tony and blaming only him is just not fair..
Rogers ‘n’ his team can go rot in hell.. Tony actually knows what he’s doing and he accepts it when he’s wrong.. unlike Steve I-know-it-all Rogers..
And yes.. I am probably biased when it comes to Tony.. but with good reasons, ofcourse..
Tony Stark.. genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.. he’s more than 40 years old and he’s been in the business and political world for more than half of his life.. I think, the only one who is older than him is Rhodey and Fury (I think, he’s actually immortal) and Tony knows how to work with the businessmen and politicians & how to manipulate them.. if that stubborn Rogers had listened for once in his goddamn life, he would have known that Tony Stark always has a plan.. he has backup plans for his backup plans..
What I don’t get is how can Barton and Romanoff be such blind idiots?? As former SHIELD agents they should’ve known how politics work..
No law is perfect when newly made.. that’s why there is a thing called “ammendments”.. and Tony Stark, as powerful as he is, didn’t create the accords.. he just supported them ‘cause he knew that was the intelligent and right thing to do.. ‘to have one hand on the steering wheel’.. you don’t have to be a genius to see that.. that’s common sense.. but alas! Common sense is not so common, I guess..
Tony Stark knows and has had experienced first hand what happens when you leave weapons without proper accountability.. and that’s what the Avengers are; “weapons" as Banner himself said in Avengers.. ‘We’re a time bomb..’
And about the video.. I’m appalled how can Rogers hide such an important part of Tony’s life and then have the audacity to lie.. Steve freaking hypocrite Rogers.. ‘Sometimes my team mates don’t tell me anything’.. huhhh..
And then the fight in Siberia.. and the end of it.. “No man left behind..” that’s one of the first rules drilled during training in soldiers’ head.. Rogers left Tony in an ememy, scratch that, in a Hydra base, defenseless, broken and crippled, emotionally & mentally..
